Please don't. Torsion springs carry hundreds of pounds of stored energy. Serious injuries happen every year. Call us — we do it every day.

LiftMaster, Genie, and Chamberlain are all reliable. LiftMaster has the deepest residential lineup and the best smart features (myQ).

Repairs

Don't try to force it back. Call us same day.
No. It's tensioned. We replace cables in pairs and inspect the drums while we're there.

Maintenance

Annually. Manufacturer warranties often require documented annual maintenance.
Lubrication, hardware tightening, balance test, safety reverse, photo eye alignment, opener force/limits, weather stripping inspection.

Emergency

Most Westchester emergencies during business hours: 60–90 minutes. After-hours / weekends: 2–4 hours.
Emergency: door stuck so you can't secure home, can't get car out, storm or security risk. Next-day is fine for noisy doors or intermittent issues.

High-Lift

Free up headroom for a 2-post or 4-post car lift, overhead storage, cathedral ceilings.
Rule of thumb: desired clear opening height + 18-24" of turn radius. A 7' door needing 9' clearance usually needs 11' of ceiling.

Weather Stripping

Yes, especially for attached garages with living space above. Old seals can leak like a window left open.
3–7 years depending on UV and cycles. Jamb seals 5–10 years. Aluminum thresholds 15+ years.

Service Area

Yes — White Plains to Buchanan, Yonkers to Bedford. See our full list.
